This role is responsible for managing and reviewing financial statements, overseeing financial reporting, and ensuring timely and accurate bookkeeping and compliance activities. The individual will handle GST-related processes, support budgeting and forecasting, perform variance analysis, and provide analytical insights to management for decision-making. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring cash flow, supporting audit requirements, maintaining internal controls, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support operational and strategic initiatives. The Senior Finance Executive will also contribute to process improvements in the finance function and help maintain adherence to regulatory and corporate governance standards.Qualifications Strong foundation in Finance and Financial Statements, with the ability to interpret and prepare balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.Experience in Financial Reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, and familiarity with relevant accounting standards.Proficiency in Goods and Services Tax (GST), including returns, reconciliations, and compliance with regulatory requirements.Advanced Analytical Skills to conduct variance analysis, cost analysis, and support data-driven decision-making.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, CPA) are an advantage.Experience in corporate or manufacturing finance environments, preferably in pharma, biotech, or related sectors.Strong proficiency with accounting and ERP software, as well as MS Excel and other financial analysis tools.Attention to detail, high ethical standards, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.Effective communication skills to present financial insights and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
