The company values creativity, authenticity, and purpose-driven work, offering team members the chance to contribute to a brand that celebrates identity and dreams.Role Description The Senior Finance Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Iklin, responsible for overseeing key financial operations and ensuring accurate, timely reporting. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and reviewing financial statements, managing budgeting and forecasting processes, and monitoring cash flow and financial performance. The role involves coordinating financial reporting, ensuring compliance with applicable tax regulations (including GST where relevant), and supporting internal and external audits. The Senior Finance Executive will work closely with leadership to provide financial insights, support strategic decision-making, and recommend improvements to financial processes and controls. The position also includes collaborating with cross-functional teams, maintaining up-to-date financial records, and contributing to long-term financial planning aligned with the brand’s growth objectives.Accounting and Reconciliations:Assist with balance-sheet reconciliations and investigate outstanding items.Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.Assist with VAT returns, audit requirements and other statutory reporting.Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and supporting schedules.Compare actual results against budgets, forecasts and previous periods.Assist in analysing sales, gross profit, operating expenses and other key performance indicators.Assist in monitoring inventory movements across retail stores, the warehouse and online channels.Reconcile inventory records between the accounting system, Shopify and physical stock counts.Investigate discrepancies relating to deliveries, transfers, returns and stock adjustments.Assist with the preparation and review of stock-count reports.Work with the Operations and Retail teams to resolve inventory variances.Review purchase orders, goods received and supplier invoices to ensure quantities and costs are accurately recorded.Assist in allocating freight, customs duties, taxes and other landed costs to inventory.Support the analysis of stock ageing, stock turnover, sell-through rates and slow-moving products.Help ensure that inventory procedures and internal controls are consistently followed.Skills and Experience:Strong numerical and analytical skills.Good understanding of accounting principles and reconciliations..Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, lookup functions and pivot tables.Experience with accounting software, Shopify or inventory-management systems would be advantageous.
