Senior Finance Manager

We're partnering with a leading Energy business to appoint a Senior Finance Manager to join a high-performing leadership team.This is a broad, hands-on role where you'll take ownership of the finance function, ensuring strong financial governance, accurate reporting and effective stakeholder management across shareholders, lenders and key partners. The successful candidate will thrive in a lean environment where accountability, collaboration and attention to detail are essential.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn the day-to-day finance function, ensuring accurate and timely financial operations.Manage lender and supplier payments, ensuring all obligations are met accurately and on time.Lead the implementation of a finance system to improve efficiency and automate finance processes and reporting.Prepare and deliver timely shareholder, lender and Board reporting.Develop and maintain robust financial models to support business performance and decision-making.Ensure compliance with IFRS, PPP accounting principles and internal governance requirements.Explain financial performance, P&L results and financial statements to shareholders, lenders and senior stakeholders.Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management and financial planning activities.Maintain strong financial controls, governance and compliance across the business.Work closely with the leadership team on commercial and strategic finance initiatives while supporting the continued growth of the organisation.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline.Professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent).Proven experience in a hands-on finance leadership role within a small or medium-sized organisation.Strong understanding of financial modelling, IFRS and Public-Private Partnership (PPP) accounting is essential.Experience working within joint ventures, government-related entities or capital-intensive industries such as infrastructure, utilities, energy or industrial projects.Experience supporting project finance, lender reporting and shareholder reporting.Demonstrated ability to manage finance processes independently from start to finish.Excellent organisational skills with a proven ability to consistently meet critical deadlines.Strong communication skills with the confidence to present financial information to shareholders, lenders and senior stakeholders.Availability: Preference will be given to candidates available immediately or within a maximum of 30 days after accepting the offer.We are looking for a candidate who will be able to work in the United Arab Emirates.
