Job SummaryThe Senior Finance Manager is responsible for leading the organization's financial planning, reporting, budgeting, and accounting functions while ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies. The role provides strategic financial guidance to senior management, oversees financial performance, manages cash flow, and supports business growth through effective financial analysis, risk management, and operational efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the company's financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.Monitor financial performance, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions to achieve business objectives.Oversee accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely financial reporting.Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to support operational and strategic needs.Ensure compliance with IFRS, local regulatory requirements, tax regulations, and internal financial policies.Develop financial models and business cases to support strategic initiatives, investments, and commercial decisions.Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic financial forecasts across business units.Collaborate with department heads to optimize costs and improve financial performance.Manage external audits, tax filings, and relationships with auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities.Identify financial risks and implement effective internal controls and mitigation strategies.Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to drive high performance and continuous improvement.Support executive management with financial insights, KPIs, and strategic recommendations.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.Master's degree (MBA or Finance) is preferred.Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, ACCA, or SOCPA is highly preferred.Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive finance experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards (IFRS), budgeting, financial analysis, taxation, and internal controls.Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar is preferred.SkillsFinancial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)Budgeting and ForecastingFinancial ReportingCash Flow & Working Capital ManagementAccounting & IFRS ComplianceCost Control and Profitability AnalysisFinancial ModelingRisk Management & Internal ControlsERP SystemsLeadership and Team ManagementStrategic ThinkingStakeholder ManagementAdvanced Excel and Financial AnalysisExcellent communication and decision-making skills
