Senior Finance Manager

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute finance professional to join a dynamic environment where they can drive performance, influence decision-making, and lead a high-performing team.The OpportunityReporting directly to the General Manager, you'll take ownership of the finance function, playing a key role in supporting revenue growth and improving EBITDA performance. This is a highly visible position, working closely with senior stakeholders across the business and within a wider UK group structure.You'll combine strong financial control with a forward-thinking, continuous improvement mindset, helping to modernise processes and deliver high-quality insight to support strategic decisions. Key ResponsibilitiesLead the end-to-end finance function, including management accounts, reporting, and financial controlsDeliver accurate and timely financial reporting to senior leadership and group finance teamsOwn the month-end process, driving efficiency and ensuring tight reporting deadlines are metManage cash flow, working capital, and banking relationshipsProvide insightful analysis on business performance, identifying risks and opportunitiesLead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning cyclesOversee audit processes and statutory obligationsDrive process improvements and optimise the use of ERP systemsTake ownership of capital expenditure tracking, fixed assets, and lease accountingLead and develop a finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement About YouWe're looking for a hands-on, commercially focused finance leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Fully qualified accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ACA)Proven experience in a senior finance role within manufacturing or industrial environmentsStrong track record of managing and developing finance teamsExperience delivering fast, accurate month-end reportingConfident working with senior stakeholders and influencing decision-makingStrong technical knowledge (IFRS / UK GAAP)Advanced Excel skills and experience working with ERP systemsA proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a passion for improving processesComfortable rolling up sleeves and supporting the wider team when needed At Gleeson Recruitment Group, we embrace inclusivity and welcome applicants of all backgrounds, experiences, and abilities.
