Senior Finance Manager (E-Commerce) Location: Stamford, CT (4 days onsite) Salary: $160,000 base + 15% bonusIndustry: CPG (e-commerce experience essential) Our client, a leading global consumer business is undergoing a period of transformation, with a growing focus on e-commerce, commercial performance and more data-driven decision-making. As the business continues to evolve, its finance function is developing its planning, reporting and analytical capabilities to provide greater visibility into financial performance and customer profitability. There is a particular emphasis on understanding performance at a more granular level, improving existing processes and equipping commercial teams with the insights needed to support growth. The Senior Finance Manager (E-Commerce) will play a key role in this evolution, partnering closely with commercial stakeholders to analyze performance across digital channels. The role offers the opportunity to combine strategic business partnering with hands-on financial analysis, while helping to strengthen reporting, improve processes and shape how finance supports the wider business. This would suit a commercially minded finance professional who is comfortable navigating ambiguity, working with complex data and driving improvements in an evolving environment. ResponsibilitiesLead financial planning, forecasting and performance analysis across key e-commerce customers, including Amazon.Partner with commercial and business leaders to assess revenue, profitability, margins and growth opportunities.Develop customer-level P&L visibility, using financial data to inform strategic and commercial decisions.Analyze performance drivers, identifying risks, opportunities and actionable recommendations.Work with large, complex datasets, improving reporting processes and developing insights from incomplete or unstructured information.Support budgeting, monthly business reviews and strategic initiatives, translating financial analysis into clear recommendations for senior stakeholders.Help develop and improve FP&A processes, reporting tools and analytics capabilities as the business continues its transformation. RequirementsStrong FP&A experience, ideally within consumer products / CPG or a retail-facing business.Experience in commercial finance or business partnering, with exposure to revenue, margin and profitability analysis.Understanding e-commerce and retail customer economics; Amazon experience is advantageous.Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large datasets; SAP and Power BI or similar BI tools preferred.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work through ambiguity and make informed assumptions when data is incomplete.A hands-on, adaptable approach, comfortable operating in a changing environment and building processes while delivering commercial insight.
