The company’s strategy is to be a leading, focused healthcare organization powered by productive collaborations with other healthcare entities.Role Description The Senior Finance Manager (Malaysia) will oversee all finance and accounting activities related to Wellesta’s operations in Malaysia while collaborating closely with the regional and Singapore headquarters teams. This full-time, on-site role based in Singapore includes managing financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow, as well as ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in line with corporate policies and regulatory requirements. The individual will monitor business performance, analyze variances, and provide strategic financial insights to support decision-making and growth initiatives across the Malaysian market. Responsibilities include supervising month-end and year-end closing, coordinating audits, maintaining internal controls, and optimizing tax and compliance processes. The Senior Finance Manager will also lead and mentor finance staff, work with cross-functional teams on commercial projects, and contribute to the development of financial policies and systems that support Wellesta’s healthcare-focused strategy.Qualifications Strong financial management and accounting skills, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and financial reporting.Experience with compliance, taxation, audit coordination, and internal controls within Malaysia and regional healthcare or commercial environments.Proficiency in financial analysis, business performance monitoring, and providing strategic recommendations to senior leadership.Ability to lead, develop, and supervise finance teams, with strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.Advanced skills in ERP systems and financial software, as well as MS Excel and other analytical tools.Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA) are an advantage.Relevant experience in a senior finance role, preferably in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or related industries, with regional exposure.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to work effectively in a multicultural, fast-paced environment.
