💼 Senior Finance OfficerLocation: United Arab Emirates 🇦🇪 Employment Type: Full-time / Part-time🌟 About the RoleWe’re looking for an experienced, analytical, and detail-oriented Senior Finance Officer to join our finance team.In this role, you’ll support and oversee key financial operations, including financial reporting, accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, budgeting, cash-flow monitoring, and financial analysis. You’ll work closely with management, accounting, operations, and other business teams to ensure accurate financial information and effective financial controls.🛠 Key ResponsibilitiesOversee day-to-day finance and accounting activitiesPrepare and review monthly and quarterly financial reportsManage and monitor accounts payable and accounts receivablePerform bank, supplier, customer, and general ledger reconciliationsReview financial transactions for accuracy, completeness, and complianceSupport budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow planningAnalyse revenue, expenses, profitability, and financial performancePrepare monthly variance analysis and management reportsMonitor outstanding receivables, payables, and cash positionsAssist with month-end and year-end closing activitiesMaintain accurate financial records and supporting documentationSupport internal and external auditsAssist with UAE VAT reporting and other relevant financial compliance activitiesMonitor financial controls and identify potential risks or discrepanciesPrepare financial schedules, reports, dashboards, and presentationsCoordinate with banks, suppliers, customers, auditors, and external service providersSupport finance process improvements and reporting automationAssist management with financial analysis and ad hoc projectsMaintain confidentiality and integrity of financial information 🔐Provide guidance and support to junior finance team members✅ What We’re Looking ForStrong accounting, financial, and analytical skillsExcellent attention to detail and accuracyStrong understanding of financial statements and accounting principlesGood knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, reconciliations, and variance analysisAdvanced Microsoft Excel skillsStrong communication and stakeholder-management skillsGood organisational and time-management abilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesStrong problem-solving and decision-making skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamHigh level of integrity and confidentialityProactive and commercially minded approach🎓 Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business, Economics, or a related fieldProfessional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CMA, CA, or equivalent is advantageousSeveral years of relevant finance or accounting experienceExperience in financial reporting, reconciliations, AP/AR, budgeting, and cash-flow managementStrong experience with accounting software or ERP systemsAdvanced Excel skills,
