Senior Finance Officer

Role OverviewThe Senior Finance Officer, CA Qualified, will be responsible for managing the organization's financial operations, ensuring statutory compliance, overseeing cross-border financial transactions, and providing strategic financial support to business leadership. The ideal candidate should possess strong experience in the IT/software industry and have hands-on expertise in managing international payments, foreign exchange (FOREX), treasury operations, and hedging strategies. Mandatory Experience: CA Qualified, Forex and International trade experience.Key ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day finance and accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.Handle cross-border financial transactions, international remittances, and multi-currency settlements.Manage foreign exchange (FOREX) exposure and recommend appropriate hedging strategies to mitigate currency risks.Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and treasury operations to support business growth.Ensure compliance with financial regulations, VAT requirements, and corporate taxation where applicable.Support budgeting, financial planning, forecasting, and variance analysis.Coordinate with banks, auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.Maintain strong internal financial controls and ensure compliance with company policies.Review contracts from a financial perspective and identify potential financial risks.Support statutory audits and ensure timely closure of audit observations.Partner with business stakeholders to provide financial insights that support strategic decision-making.Continuously improve finance processes and implement automation where feasible. Required QualificationsProfessional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent will be preferred.7–8 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting.Prior experience working with an IT, SaaS, or software product companyDemonstrated experience managing international financial transactions and multi-currency operations.Strong knowledge of treasury management, FOREX, currency risk management, and hedging techniques.Experience working with ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel.
