The role will also play an important part in finance transformation and systems enhancement.DUTIESOwn inventory accounting, valuation, landed costs, provisioning and associated balance sheet controlsLead key financial reporting activities, including month-end, reconciliations and statutory reportingAct as a key finance contact for external audit, ensuring strong documentation and audit readinessPartner with Retail, Supply Chain, Commercial and Sustainability teams across reporting and business initiativesLead and develop a small team while driving finance projects, systems improvements and process optimisationSKILLS & EXPERIENCECA/CPA qualified with strong financial accounting and technical reporting experience6+ years’ accounting experience, ideally including audit and/or a senior financial accounting positionStrong inventory accounting experience within retail, FMCG or another product/inventory-heavy environmentConfident knowledge of AASB/IFRS, balance sheet governance and external audit requirementsStrong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with advanced Excel and exposure to ERP systemsAPPLY NOWThis is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Senior Financial Accountant looking to join a high-growth, premium business with an exceptional working environment, strong leadership exposure and plenty of opportunity to make an impact.Apply now or reach out to aisling@twoscotsrecruitment.com.au for a confidential conversation.
