Senior Financial Accountant – Global Technology – Egham, Surrey – Hybrid working (2 days in office) - £70,000Join a global technology business that works with some of the world’s best-known organisations, including Google, Amazon and AstraZeneca. The business combines technology, creativity and advisory services to deliver experiences and solutions used by millions of people every day.As a Senior Financial Accountant, you’ll join the EMEA accounting team and report into the Accounting Manager. This is a hands-on role with real ownership across month-end, reconciliations and core accounting, alongside the opportunity to improve processes within a growing international organisation.The RoleOwn key areas of month-end, including journals, reconciliations, cash and intercompany accounting.Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies.Support the Accounting Manager with month-end close and wider accounting activities.Support statutory accounting, audits and financial reporting across EMEA.Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.RequirementsQualified, finalist or actively studying towards an accounting qualification.2–3+ years’ experience in a hands-on financial accounting role, with ownership of month-end.Strong accounting fundamentals and experience with statutory accounting.US GAAP and/or IFRS knowledge preferredD365 experience preferred.Naturally investigative, accurate and confident getting to the bottom of discrepancies.A hands-on, commercially minded accountant who enjoys improving processes and taking ownership.
