The roleReporting to the Group Financial Controller you will be responsible for the below duties:Support production of the half year and year end statutory reportingResponsible for preparing and posting manual, ad-hoc and recurring journals, including the management of accruals and prepaymentsOwn the balance sheet reconciliation process Providing support to the Finance Manager in maintenance of the GLProvide support to other business units in the posting of journals and investigating queries and suggestionsTreasury Accounting Assist the Tax Manager with preparation of direct and indirect taxesPreparation of monthly management and quarterly compliance reporting, including cash flow statementsAssist the external and internal auditors with information requirements and explanationsWork with the Financial Control team to perform an annual regulatory audit About youCA/CPA qualified or near to completion Open to commercial candidates with a strong technical accounting background + financial operations experienceFintech or payments experience nice to have but not required by any meansOutstanding communicator with a passion for driving change in a scaling environment For more information, please contact Schenuk Wijesekera on 02 9775 5916.
