This role is ideal for an experienced finance professional with strong expertise in real estate modeling, financial forecasting, and investment analysis. In this role you will support acquisitions, asset management, and financing decisions through detailed cash flow modeling, valuation analysis, and strategic financial insights.Key ResponsibilitiesLead financial analysis and reporting across the company’s real estate portfolio, including debt structures, investment performance, and asset-level returnsBuild, maintain, and review advanced financial models using ARGUS Enterprise for valuations, leasing assumptions, and cash flow projectionsPerform investment underwriting, including IRR, NPV, sensitivity analysis, and scenario modeling for acquisitions and dispositionsAnalyze financing structures, including mortgage debt, credit facilities, refinancing opportunities, and covenant complianceSupport acquisition and disposition processes through detailed financial due diligence and valuation analysisPrepare executive-level reports, investment summaries, and portfolio performance dashboardsCollaborate with asset management, acquisitions, and accounting teams to ensure accuracy of financial data and assumptionsMonitor market trends, rental benchmarks, cap rates, and macroeconomic indicators impacting portfolio performanceEnsure accuracy and integrity of all financial models and reporting outputsSupport lender and investor communications with financial analysis and documentation as requiredQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Real Estate, or a related field3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, real estate investment, or corporate financeStrong expertise in real estate valuation, DCF modeling, and investment underwritingSolid understanding of real estate capital markets, debt structuring, and asset management principlesAdvanced Excel and financial modeling skillsStrong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail and accuracyExcellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearlyAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentProven experience working with cross-functional teams (acquisitions, asset management, accounting, lenders)Both French and English are required as we operate across Canada.Why Join LeyadAt Leyad, you’ll join a collaborative and high-performing team that values integrity, innovation, and long-term thinking.
