Senior Financial Analyst

EMEA Recruitment is working with a growing international organization in its search for a Senior Financial Analyst to join its finance team in Munich.This is a broad finance position combining financial reporting, analysis and business partnering across a portfolio of businesses.You will work closely with finance and operational stakeholders, using financial data to provide insight and support business performance.The role also offers exposure to an acquisitive environment, supporting the financial integration of newly acquired businesses and ongoing process improvement initiatives.Responsibilities of the Senior Financial Analyst:Prepare financial statements, board reporting, budgets and KPI reportingReview accounting activities including GL postings, revenue recognition and variance analysisAnalyze budget-to-actual performance, revenue, expenses and operational trendsProvide financial insights to support business decision-makingSupport the financial and operational integration of newly acquired businessesPartner with M&A and finance colleagues on process improvement initiativesDevelop reports and dashboards to support senior managementDocument and improve finance processes and Standard Operating ProceduresExperience required:3+ years' experience within Finance, Accounting or a similar roleQualified or part-qualified with a recognized accounting bodyStrong understanding of accounting principles and financial reportingFluency in German and EnglishStrong analytical skills with excellent attention to detailAbility to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environmentFinancial systems experience, particularly Oracle NetSuite, would be advantageousAn interest in working within an entrepreneurial, international environmentIf you are interested in applying for this Senior Financial Analyst role, please register your interest using the link below.
