Senior Financial Analyst

StevenDouglas is partnered with a high-growth CPG company to identify a Senior Financial Analyst. This role is newly created to support growth and is a highly visible role with responsibilities spanning corporate and commercial finance.Financial Planning & ForecastingSupport the annual budget and periodic forecasting processes.Prepare and maintain financial models supporting revenue, trade spend, gross margin, and other key financial metrics.Analyze actual results compared with budget, forecast, and prior year and identify key drivers of variances.Assist in developing forecast assumptions in partnership with Finance and business teams.Prepare monthly financial reporting and supporting analysis for management review.Financial Analysis & Business SupportProvide financial analysis and decision support to assigned business areas and cross-functional partners.Analyze sales, volume, pricing, gross margin, and other key business drivers.Support customer, product, channel, and promotional profitability analysis.Assist with financial analysis related to pricing, trade spend, marketing investments, and new product initiatives.Develop ad hoc analyses to support business questions and decision-making.Build an understanding of key business and financial drivers and communicate insights to Finance and business partners.Reporting & Performance ManagementPrepare recurring financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs to monitor business performance.Analyze trends and identify significant changes, risks, and opportunities impacting financial results.Support monthly business and financial performance reviews through preparation of analysis and presentation materials.Ensure accuracy and consistency of financial reporting and underlying data.Assist in improving reporting and analytical tools to provide greater visibility into business performance.Process ImprovementIdentify opportunities to improve the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis.Support enhancements to FP&A systems, reporting tools, and financial models.Develop and maintain standardized templates and analytical tools.Assist with projects focused on improving financial processes and data quality.Apply today!
