This individual will analyze monthly operating performance, develop short- and long-range financial and production forecasts, maintain complex financial models, and assist with credit-related and strategic initiatives.The position is well suited for a highly analytical finance professional who is comfortable working independently, managing multiple priorities, and presenting meaningful financial insights to senior leadership.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform detailed financial analysis supporting annual budgets, periodic forecasts, long-range planning, and strategic initiatives.Develop, maintain, and improve financial models used to forecast performance, evaluate business opportunities, and support capital-allocation decisions.Analyze monthly operating and financial results, identify significant trends and variances, and communicate findings to management.Evaluate production trends, reserve information, drilling activity, commodity pricing, and market developments.Translate operational and technical data into financial forecasts and business recommendations.Support the administration and analysis of the company’s credit facilities, liquidity requirements, and financing activities.Assist senior leadership with corporate strategy, growth planning, and evaluation of potential opportunities.Prepare financial summaries, market analyses, forecasts, and presentation materials for executive leadership, investors, and the Board of Directors.Perform scenario analysis and develop recommendations with limited supervision.Manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.Support special projects and other corporate finance initiatives as needed.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, or a related discipline.Three to five years of relevant experience in corporate finance, financial planning and analysis, investment banking, transaction advisory, or management consulting.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including experience building detailed financial models.Demonstrated experience with budgeting, forecasting, valuation, sensitivity analysis, and financial scenario modeling.Strong analytical and quantitative abilities with exceptional attention to detail.Ability to independently analyze unfamiliar or complex business issues and develop practical solutions.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.Proven ability to prioritize multiple assignments and meet demanding deadlines.Experience in the oil and gas or broader energy industry is strongly preferred.Familiarity with industry data, visualization, or analytical platforms is a plus.Ideal Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate is a self-directed and intellectually curious finance professional who can move comfortably between detailed financial modeling and high-level strategic analysis. This individual will understand how operational activity affects financial performance and will be able to communicate complex findings clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.Candidates with experience supporting production forecasts, reserve analysis, capital allocation, credit facilities, executive presentations, or investor-facing materials will be particularly well aligned with the position.Compensation and BenefitsThe anticipated base salary range is $110,000–$135,000, depending on experience, industry knowledge, and technical capabilities.
