EMEA Recruitment is proud to partner with a fast-growing, private equity-backed software consolidator to appoint a Senior Financial Analyst (DACH) based in Munich, Bavaria, Germany.This is an exciting, entrepreneurial opportunity to join a fast-paced software consolidator on a significant growth trajectory.Reporting to the Finance Manager or designee, the Senior Financial Analyst will partner with colleagues to support high-quality software businesses across the group, playing a value-added role by using financial and other data to drive shareholder value.Key responsibilities of the Senior Financial Analyst:Prepare timely and accurate GAAP financial statements, board reporting, budgets and KPIs for operating companies to drive growth and smart decision-makingPerform quality assurance on finance and accounting work products, including reviewing GL postings for accuracy, monitoring revenue recognition and refining variance explanations in reportingContribute to the operational performance of operating companies through budget-to-actuals analysis, portfolio benchmarking, operational revenue and expense analysis, and decision-support insightsPartner with M&A colleagues to support the operational and financial integration of acquisitionsImplement process improvement initiatives identified in M&A business casesDevelop ad hoc reports and dashboards to help CEOs monitor their businessesDocument Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to promote best practices and efficiency across the portfolioProvide financial advice and guidance to the business as requestedExperience required:Minimum of 3 years of experience in a finance/accounting roleQualification or part-qualification from a recognized financial/accounting bodySolid working knowledge of accounting principles and practicesExperience with financial systems, particularly Oracle NetSuite, would be an assetExcellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple prioritiesHighly motivated and energetic, with an interest in entrepreneurship, software and financeFluent in German and EnglishEMEA Recruitment is committed to promoting Equity, Diversity and Inclusion in the workplace.
