Apply & track with Apply EdgeThis Senior Financial Analyst role will assist with all aspects of financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, monthly & quarterly reporting, tracking key performance indicators, and variance analysis across all Good Food Holdings banners. This role will also work closely with our parent company's Finance and Accounting functions.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Build, update, and maintain monthly banner-level financial forecasts in collaboration with business stakeholders, including variance analysis against budget/prior forecast and results-based commentaryConduct ad hoc financial and operational analysis to answer business questions quickly, translating large datasets into clear, decision-ready insightsAssist in the annual budgeting process and independently own select areas end-to-endDesign and build efficient, scalable Excel models (dynamic formulas, minimal manual touch-points) that reduce error risk and manual maintenanceAnalyze large volumes of internal and external partner data to identify key industry and performance trends, using structured analytical methods rather than surface-level reportingIdentify and implement opportunities to streamline FP&A processes, reporting, and communication flow, including automation where possibleAssist in the development and implementation of KPI reporting/dashboards for key business segmentsAnalyze core business functions to drive process improvement and establish company-wide best practices that support profitable growthEngage with all levels of management, translating complex financial analysis into clear, actionable insightsParticipate in special projects and assignments as needed QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field is required5+ years of experience in financial analysis, planning, and budgeting requiredStrong data analytical skills. Ability to handle large volumes of dataAdvanced Excel skills required. Power BI and SQL are a plusOracle experience is strongly preferredStrong sense of ownership, passionate, fast learner, and detail-orientedDemonstrable project, influencing, change management, and executive support experiencesStrong initiative with a proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and projectsSolid communication skills and ability to build a compelling business caseSalary Range: $100,000 - $115,000Language Skills Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general financial periodicals, professional journals, contracts, procedures, or governmental regulations. The employee must be able to write reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals. They must also be able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public. In addition, the Senior Financial Analyst should be able to speak effectively to groups, including industry professionals, employees, and customers.Mathematical Skills The Senior Financial Analyst must have excellent mathematical skills. They must be able to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. The employee must also be able to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Reasoning AbilityThe individual must be able to solve practical problems and handle a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
