Responsibilities

Strategic planning: Be a trusted advisor to Finance Managers, help shape our 1- and 3-year strategic plans, proactively highlighting risks and opportunities to Budget and margin, and driving optimal investment decisions through data-driven insights and business modeling expertise.Forecasting and reporting: Lead quarterly forecast and current estimate cycles, owning driver-based assumptions, risk and opportunity management, and timely escalation to keep targets on trackMonth End Close/ Current Estimate: Own the forecasting, consolidation and reporting of the monthly close/forecast cadence and business review preparation. Prepare exec ready commentary for variance capturing business drivers and strategic insights. Work with cross-functional partners to ensure alignment.Margin lever and unit economics analysis: Quantify and track the drivers of spread, and translate them into risks and opportunities for the Payments P&L. Build and maintain unit economics and margin analysis to help SLT with understanding of business and R&OOperational excellence and process improvement: Partner with Finance Team to ensure updated P&L, R&O and metrics by streamlining, standardizing and automating reporting and forecasting processes. Have AI first mindset and think of ways to automate and streamline process as much as possibleAccounting Compliance/ Financial Rigour: Prepare accounting entries including reclass entries. Expense tracking including PO tracking, making sure accruals are being captured accurately for the month and quarter.Skills:6+ years FP&A experience or equivalent tenure from related positions6+ corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, or analytics4+ years of experience with financial forecasting or analytic modelingEnjoy operating in an extremely fast-paced, entrepreneurial environmentProven track record of translating business results into an insightful & consumable story for leadership teams, ideally in high-growth software environmentsExcellent verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to partner with all levels of the organization, influence stakeholders using data and collaborate in an inclusive cultureDetail-oriented with strong analytical, problem solving, and financial modeling skillsSelf-starter with a desire to quickly learn and excel; willing and able to initiate, manage, and execute projects with minimal supervisionGrace under pressure with a good sense of humor and dose of humilityAdvanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with Hyperion Essbase preferred Experience with a Fintech business a plusEducation: Undergrad in Finance, Accounting or Business Management or equivalent work experience; Masters in Finance a plus
