Senior Financial Analyst

Our client is a stable, well-established financial services leader on Long Island looking to hire a Senior Financial Analyst for its FP&A team. This is a highly visible role with direct exposure to senior management and a strong opportunity to be mentored, build your skills and grow your career.What you'll doBuild and maintain multi-year financial models (P&L, balance sheet and cash flow) with multiple scenariosPrepare quarterly forecasts and track the key drivers behind resultsRun "what-if" and other ad hoc analyses to support strategic decisionsPrepare monthly and quarterly reporting and analysis for senior managementPerform variance analysis and cost allocationsSupport process improvements and finance system upgradesWhat you'll bringBachelor's degree in finance or accounting4–5+ years of professional experience, including at least 2 years of hands-on financial modelingAdvanced Excel modeling skills; experience using automation or AI tools to work with data is a plusSolid knowledge of GAAP and financial statementsStrong attention to detail and the ability to handle a lot of data accuratelyAble to manage multiple deadlines and take ownership of your workComfortable working with people at all levels of the organizationFinancial services experience preferred but not requiredWhy this roleStable, established leader on Long IslandExcellent exposure to senior managementReal mentorship and room to learn and growScheduleOnsite 4 days per week
