Senior Financial Analyst (FP&A)

Position OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for a dynamic, cross-functional role centered on financial reporting and analytics. In this position, you will evaluate financial performance, business trends, and strategic decisions, then translate your findings into clear insights for senior management. This role offers the opportunity to partner across the firm and play a key part in process improvement and workflow automation.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate and generate financial reporting and analyticsEvaluate financial performance, business trends, and strategic decisionsProduce sophisticated financial analysis with insightful commentary that explains key variance drivers of performancePresent financial insights to senior managementWork cross-functionally to understand the firm's departments, practice areas, and clientsPerform budgeting and forecasting, and analyze budget vs. actual results to identify variancesSupport the annual operating plan and long-range planning processesConduct scenario and sensitivity analysis to support strategic planning and decision-makingBuild dashboards and financial models in Excel, and use data visualization tools such as Power BIPlay a key role in process improvement initiatives and workflow automationQualifications4+ years of experience in a Financial Analyst or FP&A roleExperience in a large corporate or professional services industry, such as legal, financial services, technology, business consulting, or advisoryBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a similar fieldExperience using financial management systemsExperience creating SQL queries and sourcing financial data preferredExperience with Aderant, Elite, or 3E preferred
