Senior Financial Analyst - SG&ALaSalle Network is hiring for a Senior Financial Analyst - SG&A in Chicago, Illinois. Our client is seeking a high-potential Senior Analyst who is polished enough to partner with senior leadership while remaining hands-on in the work. This hybrid, direct hire opportunity is especially exciting for someone who wants visibility to executive-level decision-making, meaningful ownership over corporate SG&A, and strong upward mobility within a Global FP&A organization. In this Senior Financial Analyst - SG&A role, you’ll help drive budgeting, forecasting and executive reporting that supports key leadership decisions.ResponsibilitiesOwn budgeting, forecasting and actual-vs.-plan analysis for corporate overhead and SG&AManage key spend categories including labor, vendors/professional services, software, insurance, IT and R&D-related costsPartner with HR and corporate functional leaders on headcount, wages, organizational design and cost constraintsPartner directly with executive leaders to plan their functions, provide visibility into performance and hold leaders accountable to budgetsTurn raw SAP data into Excel-based reporting and analysis for leadershipMaintain existing reports and rebuild/create reporting that improves visibility and drives decision-makingSupport analysis and information that flows to the Executive Committee, C-suite and boardOperate as a utility player across Global FP&A as neededQualificationsFP&A experience with significant business-partnering responsibilityAbility to clearly articulate stakeholders supported and provide examples of influencing leaders through difficult decisionsComfort challenging business leaders and driving accountability (not just producing reports)Advanced Excel and reporting capabilities, with the ability to personally build analysesAbility to handle the confidentiality and dynamics of corporate FP&A, including exposure to organizational structures and compensation-related informationPrior people-management experience preferred, with interest in potential future team-buildingKey Details
