Apply & track with Apply EdgeWe are looking for a strong B2B negotiator to take ownership of complex cases involving overdue receivables and outstanding financial obligations from the company’s partners.This is not a traditional collections role.Our primary tool is professional negotiation. You will need to quickly understand each situation, assess the counterparty’s position and actual ability to meet its obligations, identify leverage points, and develop the right strategy to achieve a concrete outcome: financial commitments fulfilled and outstanding debt recovered.The role requires a balance of diplomacy and persistence. Some situations will require compromise; others will require a firm position and clear escalation. You should be comfortable knowing when there is still room to negotiate, and when the case needs to move to the next level.We are looking for an independent, commercially minded professional who can take ownership of a difficult case and drive it through to resolution.What You Will Do:Lead negotiations with company partners regarding overdue and problematic receivables.Communicate directly with business owners, senior executives, and C-level decision-makers.Investigate the underlying reasons for outstanding debt and assess the partner’s actual willingness and ability to meet its obligations.Develop a tailored negotiation and recovery strategy for each case.Identify leverage points, potential compromises, and realistic resolution scenarios.Negotiate repayment terms, timelines, and payment schedules.Document agreements and closely monitor whether commitments are fulfilled.Re-engage and adjust negotiation tactics when agreed commitments are missed.Handle sensitive, high-pressure, and conflict situations while maintaining a calm and professional approach.Evaluate the financial and reputational risks associated with different resolution scenarios.Initiate further escalation and involve relevant internal resources when negotiation alone is no longer sufficient.Maintain full ownership of each case through to actual resolution and debt recovery.Conduct face-to-face negotiations and travel for business when required.What We Are Looking For:Formal debt collection experience is not essential.
