Senior Financial Planning Analyst

Our client is a fast-growing technology business that has expanded through a number of acquisitions. With several entities now part of the group, they are building a central FP&A function to bring planning, reporting and analysis together across the business.The roleReporting into an experienced, hands-on FP&A leader, the FP&A Analyst will support the core business segments with planning, reporting and insight. It’s a chance to join a function as it’s being shaped and to gain broad exposure across a multi-entity group.Key responsibilitiesSupport the annual budget, regular forecasts and longer-term planningReview the P&L and analyse variances across business segmentsBuild and maintain dashboards and KPI reportingProvide pricing and cost analysis to support commercial decisionsWork with commercial and operational teams to explain performanceHelp streamline reporting as entities are integrated into the groupWork alongside an outsourced finance function to ensure data accuracyAbout youExperience in FP&A or commercial finance, ideally within SaaS or technologyUnderstanding of SaaS metrics, or a strong interest in developing itAdvanced Excel and financial modelling skillsExperience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau is advantageousA data-driven approach and confident communication with non-finance stakeholdersQualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), or an equivalent level of experienceExperience in a group or multi-entity environment is a plus
