Senior Fire Alarm Engineer

We're hiring an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer to lead maintenance, programming, and troubleshooting operations for fire alarm systems across our project portfolio, with a strong focus on the Notifier brand. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with team leadership and maintenance planning responsibility.About the RoleYou'll be the technical authority for fire alarm systems on site — diagnosing complex faults, programming and commissioning panels, leading a team of engineers, and building the maintenance strategy that keeps life-safety systems reliable year-round.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform maintenance, programming, and troubleshooting of fire alarm systems, with specialization in Notifier panels, SLC loops, devices, and network architecture.Lead, supervise, and develop a team of fire alarm engineers and techniciansPrepare and manage yearly preventive maintenance (PM) schedules and long-term maintenance planningExecute preventive, corrective, and condition-based maintenance (CBM) programs to maximize system uptime and reliabilityPerform root cause analysis (RCA) and systematic fault tracing to resolve recurring or complex system issuesLead troubleshooting for panel faults, SLC loop issues, ground faults, nuisance alarms, and network/communication failuresProgram and configure panels using software tools.Prepare clear, detailed technical reports covering inspections, faults, RCA findings, and maintenance outcomes for management and clients.Ensure compliance with applicable fire and life safety codes and standards.Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal teams on service delivery, planning, and reporting.Requirements10–12 years of experience in fire alarm systems, with strong exposure to Notifier brand equipment Proven experience in maintenance, programming, and fault troubleshooting Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a team of engineers/technicians Strong background in preventive, corrective, and condition-based maintenance (CBM) Proficiency in root cause analysis and systematic fault tracing methodologies Strong technical report writing and documentation skills Experience preparing yearly maintenance schedules and maintenance planning Fluent in English (spoken and written) CMRP (Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional) is a plus Relevant fire alarm certifications (Notifier/Honeywell factory training preferred)
