Its portfolio includes 35 ophthalmic drugs and 3 CE-marked medical devices, supported by a rich pipeline of 60 additional ophthalmic products in development.Role Description The Senior Foreign Specialist (Pharmacist) is a full-time, on-site role based at Orchidia’s manufacturing facility in El Obour. This role is responsible for overseeing pharmaceutical activities related to foreign markets, including ensuring compliance with international regulatory requirements, coordinating product registration and documentation, and supporting export operations. The specialist will review and validate technical files, product specifications, and quality dossiers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams such as production, quality assurance, regulatory affairs, and supply chain to align with global standards. Daily tasks include monitoring regulatory updates in target countries, providing expert guidance on ophthalmic products and formulations, supporting audits and inspections, and preparing professional reports and communications for internal and external stakeholders. The role also involves contributing to process improvements and knowledge sharing to strengthen Orchidia’s presence in international markets.QualificationsBachelor's degree in pharmacy or science any related field. From 3 to 5 year of foreign purchasing experience preferably in pharmaceutical industry.Comprehensive knowledge of purchasing procedures and practices.Ability to effectively negotiate with vendors etc. to obtain the most cost effective prices and contract terms for goods, supplies or services.Excellent English, verbal / written communicationExcellent organization and operational planning skills Very strong supplier negotiation skillsAbility to work well through others.Excellent computer skillsExcellent communication skills both verbal & written.
