About the roleWe’re looking for a strong FP&A professional who has already built solid experience in planning and analysis and is ready to take on broader ownership.You’ll work closely with finance and business leaders at a high-growth US company, helping shape the annual plan, rolling forecasts, management reporting, and the financial thinking behind key decisions.This is a great fit for someone who enjoys being close to the business and wants to move beyond reporting into real planning, business partnering, and decision support.What you’ll ownLead or support the annual budgeting and rolling forecast processBuild and maintain driver-based financial models across P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash FlowRun monthly actual vs budget and forecast variance analysisPartner with business teams to translate hiring, pricing, revenue, marketing, and operating assumptions into the financial planOwn or support cash-flow forecasting and scenario planningPrepare recurring management reporting, KPI dashboards, and performance commentaryPartner with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Product, and other teams to understand business driversBuild business cases and scenarios around growth, hiring, pricing, investment, and expansionPresent financial insights and recommendations to senior leadershipHelp improve planning tools, reporting processes, and overall FP&A disciplineMust-haves5+ years of relevant finance experience, with strong recent FP&A exposureHands-on experience owning or significantly contributing to budgeting and forecastingStrong financial modeling skills, ideally including 3-statement modelingStrong understanding of P&L, cash flow, working capital, and key business driversExperience with variance analysis, management reporting, and executive-ready insightsComfortable working directly with non-finance stakeholders and senior leadersStrong written and spoken EnglishNice to haveExperience in a startup, scale-up, VC/PE-backed businessSaaS, DTC/eCommerce, consumer, retail, CPG, marketplace, or tech-enabled business exposureExperience with board or investor reportingFundraising or strategic finance exposureExperience with planning tools, automation, or finance systemsWhy this role is excitingYou’ll have the chance to own more than reporting.
