Senior Frontend Designer Role OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Frontend Designer to design, build, and maintain modern, responsive, and accessible web applications for enterprise and customer-facing digital platforms.This role combines deep frontend expertise with the ability to contribute to backend services and integrations. You will work closely with UX designers, product owners, backend engineers, and AI/ML teams to deliver intuitive, high-performance user experiences while ensuring scalability, maintainability, and adherence to engineering best practices.The ideal candidate will have strong experience building production-grade React applications, developing reusable component libraries, integrating APIs, and contributing to Node.js and Python-based backend services.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain reusable React.js component librariesTranslate Figma, Adobe XD, and design specifications into responsive, pixel-perfect user interfacesBuild responsive layouts using modern CSS techniques including Flexbox, CSS Grid, and mobile-first principlesDevelop interactive dashboards featuring charts, tables, and real-time data visualizationsManage application state using Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or Context APIIntegrate and consume RESTful APIs while managing loading, error, and empty states effectivelyOptimize frontend performance through lazy loading, memoization, code splitting, and bundle optimizationEnsure compliance with WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards and cross-browser compatibility requirementsDevelop and execute unit tests using Jest and React Testing LibraryBuild and maintain backend services and REST APIs using Node.js (Express/NestJS)Develop Python-based services and APIs using FastAPI or FlaskCollaborate with AI and machine learning teams to integrate model outputs into user-facing applicationsParticipate in design reviews and contribute to UI/UX improvementsMaintain high-quality, well-documented code through Git workflows, code reviews, and pull request processesContribute to Agile delivery processes and sprint planning activitiesRequired Skills & QualificationsFrontend Development6+ years of hands-on experience developing production applications using React.jsStrong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScriptExperience with modern UI frameworks and libraries including Tailwind CSS, Material UI, or shadcn/uiStrong understanding of responsive design principles and frontend architectureExpertise in HTML5, CSS3, semantic markup, and accessibility standardsExperience integrating REST APIs and implementing asynchronous programming patternsStrong experience with state management solutions including Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or Context APIBackend DevelopmentExperience developing REST APIs using Node.js, Express, or NestJSHands-on experience with Python (FastAPI or Flask)Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL and MongoDBUnderstanding of authentication and authorization frameworks including JWT and OAuth 2.0General Engineering SkillsExperience using Git, pull request workflows, and code review processesStrong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologiesExcellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skillsStrong communication and stakeholder collaboration abilitiesPreferred Skills & ExperienceExperience with Next.js (SSR, SSG, ISR)Strong data visualization experience using Chart.js, Recharts, or D3.jsExposure to React Native or cross-platform mobile developmentExperience integrating AI services, LLM APIs, or Azure OpenAI/OpenAI solutionsFamiliarity with LangChain, LangGraph, or RAG-based architecturesKnowledge of banking, fintech, or regulated industry environmentsExperience working with Azure and/or AWS cloud platformsExposure to microfrontend architectures and Module FederationExperience implementing WebSocket and real-time applicationsKnowledge of Docker, containerization, and CI/CD pipelinesHalian GroupWith over 28 years of experience, we have come to understand that innovation is the only way to provide agile, practical solutions that transform businesses and careers.
