The person in this role will design, build, and maintain highly responsive user interfaces for web applications, ensuring a seamless experience across devices and browsers. We work in an AI-first engineering culture. Our developers use AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, and similar) as a normal part of daily work — for planning and breaking down features, scaffolding and implementing them, reviewing code, writing tests, debugging, and documenting. We're looking for someone who already works this way and can show us how they do it, not someone we need to convince.Daily responsibilities include implementing new features, optimizing performance, collaborating with product managers and designers, and integrating frontend components with backend services. The Senior Frontend Developer will write clean, maintainable code, participate in code reviews, improve UI/UX based on feedback and analytics, and help define frontend best practices and standards — including the team's conventions for effective and safe AI-assisted development. This role also involves mentoring other developers, contributing to technical decisions, and supporting continuous improvement of the overall development workflow.QualificationsStrong Vue 3 expertise — Composition API, <script setup>, reactivity fundamentals, composables, and component design. Experience with Nuxt, Pinia, Vue Router, and the Vue testing ecosystem (Vitest, Vue Test Utils).A demonstrable track record of building production software with AI tools. You should be able to walk us through real examples: how you prompt and scope work, how you structure context and project rules for the assistant, where you let it drive versus where you take over, and how you review and verify what it produces.Experience using AI tools beyond code generation — for technical planning, breaking down requirements, exploring unfamiliar codebases, refactoring at scale, and writing tests and documentation.Sound judgment about the limits of AI-generated code: you own what you ship, and you can spot the plausible-but-wrong output before it reaches review.Strong general front-end fundamentals, including exposure to other modern frameworks (React, Angular) and the ability to move between them.Experience in Responsive Web Design and creating accessible, user-centered interfaces.Solid background in Web Development and Software Development principles, including testing, debugging, and version control.Familiarity with Back-End Web Development concepts and APIs to effectively integrate frontend with backend services.Proficiency with HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript, plus build tools and bundlers (Vite preferred).Experience working in agile teams and collaborating with product, design, and backend engineering.Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage priorities, and communicate clearly in English.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience; prior experience in marketplace or e-commerce products is a plus.Nice to have: experience with MCP servers or custom AI tooling/agents in a development workflow; bilingual (Arabic/English) product experience including RTL layouts; SSR and Core Web Vitals optimization at scale.
