The role will focus on developing modern frontend applications using ReactJS, while ensuring excellent performance, usability, responsiveness, and maintainability.The ideal candidate will have strong frontend engineering expertise, a deep understanding of ReactJS, and experience building consumer-facing products at scale. You will work closely with Product, Design, Backend, QA, and other engineering teams to translate product requirements into seamless digital experiences.RequirementsKey ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable B2C frontend applications using ReactJSBuild responsive, intuitive, and high-performance user interfaces across web and mobile-responsive platformsTranslate product requirements, wireframes, and designs into reusable and maintainable frontend componentsDevelop complex user journeys and interactive features while maintaining a strong focus on usability and performanceBuild reusable UI components and contribute to scalable frontend architecture and design systemsWork closely with Product Managers, UX/UI Designers, Backend Engineers, QA, and other stakeholders to deliver end-to-end product featuresIntegrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and backend servicesOptimise application performance, page load times, rendering, responsiveness, and overall user experienceEnsure frontend applications work consistently across major browsers, devices, and screen sizesImplement robust error handling, validation, loading states, and other user experience considerationsWrite clean, modular, reusable, and well-tested frontend code following modern engineering practicesParticipate in code reviews and contribute to frontend coding standards and best practicesIdentify and resolve technical issues, performance bottlenecks, and production defectsContribute to frontend testing, debugging, release activities, and continuous improvementEnsure applications follow appropriate security, accessibility, and frontend development standardsStay current with ReactJS, frontend technologies, web performance practices, and emerging development trendsMentor junior developers and contribute to technical discussions, architecture decisions, and knowledge-sharing initiativesWhat Makes You a Great Fit3+ years of professional experience in frontend development, with strong hands-on experience building production-grade web applicationsStrong expertise in ReactJS and modern frontend development practicesProven experience developing B2C applications or consumer-facing digital productsStrong understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript, React components, hooks, state management, and frontend architectureExperience building responsive, scalable, accessible, and high-performance user interfacesStrong understanding of HTML, CSS, browser behaviour, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibilityExperience integrating frontend applications with REST APIs and backend servicesStrong understanding of frontend performance optimisation, debugging, and production issue resolutionExperience with reusable component development, design systems, and scalable UI architectureFamiliarity with frontend testing frameworks and modern development workflowsExperience with Git, code reviews, CI/CD, and Agile development practicesStrong understanding of software engineering principles, clean code, maintainability, and scalabilityExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills with strong attention to detailStrong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with Product, Design, Backend, and QA teamsAbility to take ownership of frontend features from requirements → development → testing → deployment → optimisationBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred
