Working closely with product managers, domain experts, backend engineers, and fellow developers, you will help shape the future direction of the application while remaining hands-on with development.The platform combines large datasets, analytical workflows, persistent user state, and advanced visualisation capabilities into a single engineering workspace. As a technical leader, you will drive architectural decisions, establish engineering standards, and ensure the long-term scalability, maintainability, and performance of the frontend ecosystem.Key responsibilities include:Leading the frontend architecture and technical direction of a complex cloud-based software platformDesigning and developing scalable applications using React and TypeScriptDriving the continued evolution and integration of multiple product capabilities into a unified user experienceBuilding interactive and intuitive interfaces for highly technical users working with large and complex datasetsCollaborating closely with product managers, engineers, designers, and domain specialists to translate requirements into software solutionsEstablishing frontend engineering standards, best practices, and architectural guidelinesOptimising browser performance, rendering efficiency, memory usage, and application responsivenessSupporting API design discussions and integration with distributed backend servicesMentoring developers and helping raise engineering quality across the wider teamContributing to frontend testing, observability, debugging, and production support activities

Requirements
