Senior Frontend Engineer (React/Angular) – Front Office Trading

Role:We are seeking an experienced Senior Frontend Engineer to support the modernisation of a global financial markets technology platform.The role involves developing high-performance, data-intensive and real-time frontend applications supporting Front Office Trading environments.

Responsibilities

Design, develop and enhance modern frontend applications using React and/or Angular.Build scalable, responsive interfaces for data-intensive and real-time applications.Improve UI architecture, accessibility, performance and user experience.Integrate frontend applications with backend services and REST APIs.Collaborate with Product, UX, Engineering, Architecture and QA teams.Contribute to automated testing, CI/CD and Agile delivery.Deliver production-ready code aligned with engineering and security standards.

Required Skills

5–10 years of relevant frontend engineering experience.Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript, TypeScript and React and/or Angular.Experience developing large-scale, data-intensive or real-time web applications.Strong knowledge of UI architecture, accessibility and performance optimisation.Hands-on experience developing or supporting front office trading applications or systems.Experience with trader-facing applications, real-time market-data platforms, OMS/EMS or trading dashboards is highly relevant.Familiarity with cloud platforms, CI/CD and full-stack development.
