About the RoleThe Senior Frontend Engineer - Web will be responsible for writing high-quality, performant, and reliable code independently while working on defined tasks and bugs. This role requires collaboration with various teams to align development efforts with business objectives.ResponsibilitiesWrite high-quality, performant, and reliable code independently while working on defined tasks/bugs.Understand and align development efforts with business objectives, including SEO strategies.Set and uphold code quality standards within the company.Collaborate effectively with Product Managers, Backend Developers, and Quality Assurance Engineers to achieve team goals.Provide technical input to project management when necessary.Identify and address technical debt.Respond to and resolve emergency software defects, sharing knowledge gained from failures.Contribute to defining the technical architecture for products with an eye on SEO best practices.Continuously improve internal technical practices and processes, including SEO optimization.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.Required SkillsStrong experience with React and Next.js.Proven track record as a React.js Developer.In-depth knowledge of React and related tools (e.g., Webpack, Redux, Flux).Proficiency in JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and front-end languages.Familiarity with ECMAScript features.Experience with REST APIs.Ability to build reusable front-end components.Translate UI/UX wireframes into visual elements.Proficient in producing production-ready code with comprehensive unit and integration tests.Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest and Enzyme.Proficiency in browser-based debugging and performance testing tools.Familiarity with Git and GitHub.User interface design experience.Strong troubleshooting skills.Excellent knowledge of modern cross-browser HTML5, ES6+, and CSS3+ (SCSS).Awareness of web performance best practices, accessibility, and SEO.Preferred SkillsExperience developing components in isolation using Storybook.Familiarity with tools like Zeplin, JIRA, Confluence.Knowledge of AWS and frontend infrastructure (e.g., S3, CDN, CloudFront).Exposure to CI/CD processes (e.g., Jenkins).Familiarity with Docker.SEO optimization expertise, including on-page and technical SEO best practices.
