Apply & track with Apply EdgeAbout the Role We're looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer who can take ownership of a project from start to finish. This role is for someone who is comfortable understanding a problem, speaking with the client, deciding how to approach it technically, building the solution, deploying it, and making sure it continues to work well after going live. You'll be working on different projects, so the ability to switch context, understand new requirements quickly, and work independently is important. We're not looking for someone who only focuses on one part of the stack. You should be comfortable working across frontend, backend, databases, APIs, deployment, and production issues whenever the project requires it.Roles & Responsibilities:Own projects from the initial requirement discussion through development, deployment, and postlaunch support. Understand client requirements and convert them into clear, practical technical solutions. Work across frontend, backend, APIs, databases, integrations, and deployment. Speak directly with clients when required to understand requirements, discuss progress, clarify issues, and suggest solutions. Join client meetings, both online and in person, whenever needed. Make technical decisions based on the project requirements instead of waiting for detailed instructions at every step. Build applications that are reliable, maintainable, and ready for production. Handle deployments, environment setup, releases, debugging, and production issues. Take responsibility when something goes wrong and work towards resolving it quickly. Work on multiple projects and switch between different business and technical contexts when needed. Get comfortable with unfamiliar codebases and understand existing systems quickly. Communicate blockers, risks, and delays early rather than waiting until they become bigger problems. Work closely with other team members while still being able to independently drive a project. Balance good engineering practices with project timelines and business requirements. Look for ways to improve the product, development process, and overall quality of the work. What We're Looking For:3+ years of professional software development experience. Strong hands-on experience in full stack development. Comfortable working independently across frontend and backend. Experience working with APIs, databases, third-party integrations, and deployments. Experience taking a project or major feature from development to live production. Good debugging and problem-solving skills. Ability to understand a new codebase and start contributing without a lot of hand-holding. Comfortable handling multiple projects and changing priorities. Good written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable speaking directly with clients and understanding their business needs. Able to explain technical topics in a simple way to non-technical people. Comfortable attending client meetings in person when required. Someone who takes responsibility for the final outcome, not just the code assigned to them. The Kind of Person We're Looking For The best fit for this role is someone who can be given a problem and take it forward without needing every step to be defined. You should be comfortable asking the right questions, figuring out what needs to be built, choosing a sensible technical approach, and seeing the project through until it is live and working well. We value people who: Take ownership instead of waiting to be told what to do next. Communicate clearly with both clients and internal teams. Can move between different projects without getting stuck. Are comfortable making decisions when everything is not perfectly defined. Raise concerns early and take responsibility for solving problems. Care about building something that actually works well for the end user. What We Value Most For us, strong technical skills are important, but they are only one part of the role. We value people who are dependable, take ownership, communicate well, and can solve problems without needing constant supervision. We also expect developers to make good use of AI tools in their day-to-day work. This could mean using AI to speed up development, understand unfamiliar code, debug issues, write tests, research solutions, improve documentation, or explore different approaches. The goal is not to use AI for the sake of it. It is to use the right tools to work faster and better while still applying your own judgment and taking responsibility for the final output.
