Senior Full Stack Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES:Support full stack development/product activities for a data platform using Python and PostgresFront end Angular development for an internal web applicationWillingness to be cross-trained in activities across the development team, including supporting an agentic AI pipeline; data engineering activities such as Extraction, Transformation, and Load (ETL); and DevSecOps CI/CD pipeline configurationActively participate in Agile Scrum activities including sprint planning, backlog refinement/estimation, sprint demos, and sprint retrospectivesContribute to Product Increment (PI) planning, product roadmap development, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and product demonstrationsCollaborate with the Product Owner and rest of the development team to understand user needsConduct proactive code analysis and peer review to identify quality issues, security concerns, and revise programs as neededEnsure the security of products through proactive security engineering as part of development planning, and responding to security-related issues and requestsWork with Project Manager, Scrum Master, Technical Lead, and other team members to continuously improve project execution and technical implementationsIdentify, anticipate, and address performance bottlenecks in the applicationProduction support on systems of responsibility as neededOther duties as assignedREQUIRED SKILLS:A minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible experience working in a software development environment that includes:At least 4 years of experience developing Python applications At least 3 years of experience with Javascript/Typescript development, with Angular preferredAt least 3 years of experience as a full stack developerExperience utilizing DevSecOps tools including Azure DevOps, SonarQube, or similarExperience writing SQL for Postgres (or a comparable RDBMS, such as MS SQL Server)Troubleshooting skills and experience such as reviewing logs, attaching a debugger, use of Chrome developer toolsComfortable with web security best practices (e.g. OWASP Top 10)Independent problem-solving skills, strong analytical abilities, creativity, and clear appreciation of end customer needsThe ability to prioritize and organize efforts in a fast-paced environmentClient-ready communication skills to engage proactively and frequently with the Product Owner and other federal staffPREFERRED SKILLS:Experience establishing Agentic AI pipelines and implementationGit and Azure DevOps source code managementExperience with Docker, Docker Compose and Docker orchestration systems (e.g. Kubernetes)Experience with Kendo UI solutions such as Kendo GridsMicrosoft Azure or AWS technical certificationsEDUCATION:Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Technology or related preferred), 4 years of equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degreeTCG does not discriminate based on race, sex, color, religion, national origin, age, disability, caste, or veteran status.Our B Corp mission is reflected in our benefits, including offerings like health care, 401K, parental leave, adoption assistance, financial planning services, student loan repayment assistance, and training budget.
