About the RoleOur client is looking for an experienced and highly skilled Senior MERN Stack Developer with 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and scaling modern web applications. The ideal candidate will play a key role in architecting robust full-stack solutions, mentoring development teams, and driving technical excellence across projects.This role requires deep expertise in MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js, along with strong system design knowledge, cloud exposure, and experience building scalable, high-performance applications.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack web applications using the MERN stack.Architect high-performance and secure backend systems and APIs.Build reusable, modular, and maintainable frontend components using React.js.Develop and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices.Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and cross-functional teams.Lead technical discussions, code reviews, and mentor junior developers.Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices.Manage database design, indexing, query optimization, and caching strategies.Work with CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployment environments.Participate in Agile development processes including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.Stay updated with the latest technologies, frameworks, and industry best practices.Required Skills5+ years of experience in full-stack web development.Strong expertise in:MongoDBReact.jsNode.jsProficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.Strong understanding of frontend architecture and state management.Experience with Redux Toolkit, Context API, or similar state management libraries.Hands-on experience with REST APIs and microservices architecture.Strong understanding of database design and optimization.Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.Strong understanding of system design, scalability, and performance optimization.Nice to HaveUnderstanding of AI/LLM integrations and modern AI-powered applications.Experience with AI Productivity Tools like Co-Pilot, Cursor, Codex etcExperience with Kubernetes and orchestration tools.Familiarity with GraphQL.Experience with Next.js or server-side rendering frameworks.Exposure to WebSockets or real-time systems.Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.Knowledge of Docker and containerized deployments.Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.Experience with Redis, RabbitMQ, or message queue systems.Knowledge of testing frameworks such as Jest or Cypress.About YMinds.AIAt YMinds.AI, we foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
