Senior Full Stack Engineer

Metric has partnered with a VC-backed startup with a clear mission: become the category leader in multi-domain autonomy across air, land and sea. They have already secured defense and commercial contracts and are now building the engineering team to take them to the next level.We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to take ownership of the platform, bring order to a fast-moving stack, and set the engineering standard as the company scales.What you'll work onOwning customer-facing products and internal tooling end-to-end, from architecture to productionBackend services in Python and Node.js on AWS (Lambda, EC2, DynamoDB, S3, Cognito)Responsive interfaces in React and TypeScriptCloud infrastructure managed through Terraform or CDKReal-time hardware integration via REST APIs and WebSocketsWhat they're looking for5+ years across the full stack with Node.js and React/TypeScript as your coreStrong production AWS experience and solid backend fundamentalsDevOps ownership: pipelines, deployments, incidentsInfrastructure-as-code with Terraform, CDK or CloudFormationSomeone who ships without being chased and thrives with autonomyOn-site in Palo Alto 5 days a weekNice to have: startup experience, hardware or telemetry exposure, experience with ROS and/or C/C++If you want to take full ownership of a platform powering real-world autonomous systems, this role was made for you.
