We’re building a smarter, faster, and more accessible way to own a homeYour Impact: As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer at Holo, you'll build the infrastructure that makes home ownership accessible to thousands of families. Every frontend you build, every API you design, and every optimization you implement will directly accelerate someone's path to their dream home.Besides the day-to-day, Holo’s engineering team is in the process of transitioning to full stack development and you, as our Senior Full-Stack Engineer, will help define that roadmap and guide developers on this journey.You will have the opportunity to impact the business and the careers of those who work towards making the business succeed.You'll transform the mortgage experience by: Normalizing inconsistent bank requirements, document requirements across regionsDesign backend architecture that processes mortgage comparisons in seconds instead of the industry standard of days or weeks, fundamentally changing customer expectations.Creating systems that handle sensitive financial data with precision, because a single error could cost a family thousands of dirhams or delay their home purchase by months.Building platforms that can serve the entire UAE market, processing thousands of mortgage applications simultaneously while maintaining speed and reliability.Setting the foundation for product innovation, enabling our mortgage advisors to serve customers better and our product team to rapidly test and deploy new features that address real market needs.How You'll Work: You'll work directly with product managers, mortgage experts, and QA engineers to translate complex financial requirements into elegant technical solutions. This role requires someone who sees the connection between code and customer outcomes. When you optimize a database query, you're helping a young couple get their offer accepted faster.This is a rare opportunity to work on technology that matters. You'll be part of a small, focused team where your contributions directly shape both the product and the company culture. You push back on 'average'.You bring: Technical depth: Strong command of JavaScript, Node.js, and TypeScript; experience designing systems and APIs that handle complex business logic; proficiency with SQL/NoSQL databases and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP), experience building performant, accessible, and responsive UIs; proficiency with state management, component architecture, and browser rendering fundamentals and working with component libraries.Product mindset: You write code along with understanding the business context. You ask questions about the customer problem you're solving and translate business needs into technical solutions. You care about the metrics/KPIs your code is affecting and are curious about the impact of your work.Quality: You practice test-driven development, participate meaningfully in code reviews, and believe that robust, well-architected systems are what enable teams to move fast sustainably.Collaboration skills: You work effectively in a cross-functional environment. You communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
