Apply & track with Apply EdgeAbout RidaRida builds technology that powers real-world field and delivery operations for healthcare, retail and enterprise customers.We are developing AIDA, our AI operations layer, to manage customer and operational conversations, coordinate workflows, handle exceptions and initiate work across field-service and delivery networks.AIDA and Rida’s existing technology platform work together: AIDA provides the intelligence and workflow layer, while Rida’s production applications and services execute, track and manage the underlying operations.The roleWe are looking for a senior, hands-on full-stack engineer to build AI-powered field and delivery services across AIDA and Rida’s wider technology platform.This is not a pure machine-learning research role or an isolated greenfield AI project. You will build new AIDA products while also extending the production systems, APIs and operational applications that allow AI-generated decisions and workflows to be executed reliably.You should be equally comfortable building new products and working with established production systems.What you will buildAI-powered tools for managing customer and operational conversations.Field-service workflows covering job intake, scheduling, assignment, vendor coordination, status tracking, proof of work and exception handling.Delivery workflows covering order management, driver and operations applications, tracking, proof of delivery and service recovery.Human-in-the-loop controls for reviewing and approving AI-recommended actions.Operational dashboards and control towers for customers and internal teams.Integrations between AIDA, Rida’s applications and customers’ enterprise systems.Reusable workflow and application components that can support different customers and industries.What you will doDevelop and maintain frontend applications using JavaScript and Vue.js.Build and improve backend services, REST APIs, GraphQL APIs and webhooks.Design reliable application workflows and PostgreSQL data models.Integrate with messaging platforms, customer systems and third-party services.Work on production applications deployed on AWS.Diagnose and resolve complex issues across frontend, backend, database and infrastructure layers.Improve application architecture, automated testing, observability and deployment reliability.Apply secure development practices across authentication, permissions, secrets, APIs and sensitive customer data.Work closely with product, operations and commercial teams to translate real operational requirements into scalable software.Participate in architecture decisions, code reviews, incident response and technical planning.Use AI-assisted development tools responsibly to improve engineering speed and quality.What we are looking forAt least five years of professional full-stack software-engineering experience.Strong JavaScript and preferably TypeScript experience.Strong practical experience with Vue.js and Node.js.Experience designing and maintaining REST and GraphQL APIs.Strong PostgreSQL and data-modelling knowledge.Experience operating and troubleshooting production systems on AWS.Experience with automated testing, CI/CD, logging, monitoring and production incident resolution.Good understanding of application and cloud security, including authentication, access control, secrets management, encryption and protection of sensitive data.Ability to understand complex existing systems while building new products on top of them.Strong ownership, technical judgment and written communication.Particularly valuable experienceAI agents, LLM applications or workflow automation.WhatsApp, messaging or conversational products.Field-service management, logistics or delivery platforms.B2B SaaS and enterprise system integrations.High-volume transactional or operational systems.Event-driven architecture and asynchronous processing.SOC 2 or other security-governed environments.Direct AI experience is helpful but not essential.
