Senior Full Stack / Platform Engineer (AI)

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack / Platform Engineer to join a major technology programme in Dubai.This is a hands-on engineering role suited to someone who can work across the full application lifecycle — building modern user interfaces, backend services and APIs, through to data, security, deployment and production support.You’ll be involved in both rapid development of new solutions and taking those products through to secure, scalable production environments.

Responsibilities

Develop modern web applications using React, Next.js and TypeScriptBuild scalable backend services using Node.jsDesign and work with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQLDevelop and integrate secure REST APIsDeliver features from initial concept/prototype through to productionImplement authentication, SSO and access-control solutionsBuild real-time functionality using WebSocketsContainerise and deploy applications using DockerWork with and maintain CI/CD pipelinesCollaborate with product, design and business teams on new solutionsImprove application security, scalability, reliability and performanceIntegration of AI/LLM services or multiple AI model providers

Requirements

6+ years' software engineering / full-stack development experienceStrong React / Next.js / TypeScript experienceStrong backend development experience with Node.jsHands-on PostgreSQL / SQL experienceStrong understanding of REST APIs and modern application architectureExperience deploying and supporting production applicationsDocker and CI/CD experienceUnderstanding of authentication and authorization including SSO, OAuth2/OIDC and RBACAdvantageous ExperienceExperience in any of the following would be beneficial:SAML SSO integrationsRBAC / ABACMicrosoft Entra ID, Okta or similar identity platformsWebSockets and real-time applicationsOpenAPI / SwaggerPrisma, Drizzle or similar ORM frameworksPWA / Service WorkersB2B SaaS or enterprise platformsBanking, fintech, financial services or other regulated environments
