Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

Gallium31 is looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to design, develop, and deliver business-critical applications for a leading enterprise insurance organization.The role requires strong hands-on experience with Node.js, React, TypeScript, and Next.js, together with solid knowledge of REST APIs, microservices, cloud-native architecture, and event-driven systems.You will work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Solution Architects, QA Engineers, DevOps teams, and other technology stakeholders to build scalable digital solutions supporting customer sales and servicing journeys.The ideal candidate is comfortable working across the full software development lifecycle and can independently deliver secure, maintainable, and production-quality solutions within a highly governed enterprise environment.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESFull-Stack Engineering Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable full-stack web applications. Build frontend applications using React, TypeScript, and Next.js. Develop backend services using Node.js and frameworks such as NestJS. Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services. Implement business features supporting customer sales and servicing journeys. Troubleshoot defects across frontend, backend, API, and integration layers. Write clean, reusable, testable, and maintainable code. Support application enhancements, production fixes, and technical debt remediation.Microservices and API DevelopmentDesign and implement API-first and microservices-based solutions.Develop loosely coupled and independently deployable services. Apply RESTful API and enterprise integration standards. Implement authentication, authorization, validation, error handling, logging, retries, idempotency, and API versioning.
