Senior Full Stack Developer | Johannesburg | HybridWe’re partnering with a leading automotive technology business that is looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join their growing technology team.This is a hands-on senior role for someone who enjoys working across the stack, solving complex problems, taking ownership of projects, and helping develop the engineers around them.The OpportunityYou’ll work across high-impact web and mobile products, contributing to both greenfield development and the continuous improvement of existing platforms.The role is backend-leaning, but you’ll need to be comfortable working across both frontend and backend technologies.Your key responsibilities will include:Designing and developing scalable web and mobile applicationsBuilding backend APIs and services using PHP/LaravelDeveloping modern frontend applications using Next.js, React and TypeScriptWorking with Docker and Kubernetes across deployment and infrastructureContributing to cloud and AWS-related initiativesConducting code reviews and maintaining strong testing standardsMentoring intermediate and junior developers through collaboration and pair programmingTaking ownership of projects from development through to deliveryWhat We’re Looking For5+ years’ software development experienceStrong experience with Laravel/PHPStrong experience with Next.jsHands-on Kubernetes and Docker experienceExperience with AWSExposure to mobile development, React Native, Flutter or PWAs would be beneficialSomeone who is comfortable working with autonomy and taking ownershipStrong communication and critical-thinking skillsA collaborative mindset with a genuine interest in mentoring othersWhy Consider It?This is more than a coding role.
