Senior Gallery Manager

Role Description The Senior Gallery Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and presentation of the gallery space. This position manages exhibition planning and scheduling, coordinates with artists, clients, and internal stakeholders, and ensures that all displays align with brand standards and business objectives. The Senior Gallery Manager supervises gallery staff, organizes events and walkthroughs, and maintains inventory and documentation of artworks and digital exhibits. The role includes monitoring visitor experience, implementing marketing and promotional activities, and analyzing footfall and engagement data to improve gallery performance. The Senior Gallery Manager also collaborates with the leadership team to develop strategies that enhance the gallery’s visibility, revenue, and client relationships.QualificationsExperience in gallery or exhibition management, including planning, curation support, and day-to-day operations.Strong stakeholder management and client-facing skills, with the ability to coordinate smoothly with artists, vendors, and internal teams.Team leadership and people-management capabilities, including scheduling, delegation, coaching, and performance oversight.Organizational and administrative skills for inventory tracking, documentation, reporting, and compliance with internal processes.Basic marketing and event management skills to support promotions, social media presence, and visitor engagement activities.Comfort with digital tools and software used in scheduling, content management, communication, and reporting.Bachelor’s degree in Arts, Design, Management, Marketing, or a related field; equivalent experience in gallery or retail management may be considered.Previous experience in an art gallery, museum, premium retail space, or experiential center is highly beneficial.Ability to work on-site in Mumbai, including occasional weekend or extended hours during events and special exhibitions.Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a customer-centric approach.
