Senior General Accountant

Key Responsibilities

Record and review daily accounting transactions and journal entries.Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.Perform monthly and annual closing activities.Prepare bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable activities.Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.Maintain proper documentation and accounting records.Coordinate with external auditors and support audit requirements.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Minimum 7 years of experience in Financial Accounting.Proven experience in preparing financial statements and periodic financial reports.Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.Experience in month-end and year-end closing processes.Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Previous experience in car rental companies or service-based businesses is a plus.
