The role supports the Head of Total Rewards & OD in ensuring the efffcient deployment of compensatton, beneffts, and reward policies, while enabling organizatton-wide design structures, job architecture, and structural change analyttcs. Working closely with HRBPs, the CoE, Finance, and business leaders, the SGM oversees delivery of benchmarking, reward cycle operattons, pay communicatton, and supports OD inittattves such as spans and layers reviews, grading, structural realignment and recommendattons, and job analysis. The role is key to maintaining fairness, transparency, and compettttveness in both compensatton and organizattonal design governance.Key ResponsibilittesA. Strategic and Managerial ResponsibilittesStrategy and Planning Lead and monitor the performance of Total Rewards & OD inittattves, track milestones, and report progress to senior management.Translate strategic frameworks into operattonal plans and mobilize cross-functtonal teams to deliver on priorittes.Contribute formulattng the strategic framework.Policies & Processes Design and periodically update Total Rewards and OD policies, toolkits, and guidelines in line with market trends and business evolutton and ensure that they are compliant.Develop governance frameworks for total rewards programs, grading systems, and job design principles.Risk Management Contribute to the HR risk management framework by identtfying Total Rewards and OD-related risks and implementtng mittgatton strategies.Regularly assess risk exposure and report ffndings to senior stakeholders.Compliance Design controls and tracking systems for pay internal equity & external alignment, policy deviattons, and compliance exposure.Proacttvely identtfy regulatory or legal risks in pay/beneffts design and recommend mittgatton.B. Core ResponsibilittesCompensatton and Beneffts Design & Delivery Lead the design and review of salary structures, allowance matrices, and beneffts packages – all total rewards instruments.Design & implement country – enttty speciffc guidelines.Benchmark internal and external pay trends to ensure compettttveness and alignment.Oversee annual salary review, bonus, and beneffts cycles in partnership with HRBPs and Finance.TR & OD Project Delivery Manage TR & OD projects end-to-end, including planning, executton oversight, stakeholder coordinatton, and postimplementatton review.Oversee and respond to off-cycle and ad hoc Total Rewards or OD requests, ensuring alignment with governance, internal equity, and cost frameworks.Lead cross-enttty task forces and ensure ttmely milestone achievement and interdepartmental collaboratton.Prepare executtve-level reporttng packages and ensure alignment with business and HR leadership expectattons.Job Evaluatton & Organizattonal Design Drive the evolutton and applicatton of the job architecture framework across business units.Conduct job evaluattons and structural alignment reviews using formal methodologies.Enable spans and layers opttmizatton and structural realignment proposals in OD interventtons.Performance– Reward Alignment Partner with Performance and Talent teams to ensure integratton of performance outcomes with rewards programs and career paths.Ensure structural consistency and reward governance in recognitton, retentton, and promotton planning.Incenttve Plan Management Design, implement, and reffne short- and long-term incenttve plans aligned with business strategy.Monitor eligibility, KPI alignment, payout modeling, and budget impact.Budget Management Own total rewards for budgettng tools; oversee simulatton, forecasttng, and reconciliatton processes.Provide executtve analysis on cost drivers and budget adherenceData & Benchmarking Lead market survey parttcipatton and internal/external benchmarking.Prepare dashboards and analyttcs for Total Rewards decision-making. JOB DESCRIPTION INTERNALVendor & Stakeholder Management Manage consultants and providers (e.g. Mercer, WTW, beneffts vendors) to ensure SLAs, data quality, and cost-effecttveness.Serve as TR & OD focal point for enttty HR, Finance, and Legal teams.C. Cross-Functtonal Collaboratton & Experttse Enablement:Functtonal Inffuence Act as a senior subject matter expert and strategic enabler for Total Rewards and OD implementatton across sectors and enttttes.Provide guidance to junior TR team members and HRBPs, supporttng their development through knowledge sharing and project collaboratton.Collaboratton & Culture Foster strong partnerships across HR Centers of Experttse and enttty HR teams to ensure aligned and consistent delivery.Champion fairness, transparency, and equity as foundattonal principles in all reward and OD-related work. Qualiffcattons and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administratton, Engineering, Finance, or a related ffeld.
