Senior Geographic Information System Specialist

Job Purpose:We are looking for an experienced Senior GIS Specialist to support Enterprise GIS operations, geospatial data management, infrastructure and asset management, and the integration of GIS with enterprise and operational systems.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain Enterprise GIS, enterprise geodatabases, and spatial datasets, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, topology, and compliance with GIS standards.Perform spatial and network analysis to support infrastructure planning, asset management, risk mapping, and informed decision-making.Support ArcGIS Utility Network, including network connectivity, topology, asset relationships, and data quality.Apply Linear Referencing Systems (LRS) for linear infrastructure and asset location management.Manage and maintain infrastructure asset data, including asset hierarchies, spatial relationships, attributes, and data alignment across integrated systems.Support GIS integration with EAM, SCADA, BIM, BI, project management platforms, and other relevant enterprise systems.Support ETL and data integration workflows for extracting, transforming, validating, and loading spatial and non-spatial data.Support BIM–GIS and CAD–GIS integration, including as-built and asset handover data.Support GIS workflow automation, geoprocessing, and data validation activities.Support field data collection, asset inspections, and the integration of operational and as-built data into Enterprise GIS.Contribute to GIS data models, standards, metadata, QA/QC, and data governance requirements.Develop and maintain GIS maps, dashboards, web applications, and spatial visualization products.Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure GIS deliverables and data requirements are aligned with business and operational needs.Required Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Engineering, Geomatics, Surveying, Computer Science, or a related discipline.4–8 years of relevant GIS experience, preferably within infrastructure, utilities, water, transportation, or other asset-intensive environments.Strong proficiency in ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Enterprise.Strong experience in Enterprise Geodatabases, spatial data management, spatial analysis, and geoprocessing.Good knowledge of data quality, topology, network connectivity, and infrastructure asset data management.Good understanding of SQL, spatial databases, and enterprise GIS environments.Good understanding of GIS integration concepts and data exchange between GIS and enterprise systems.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder coordination abilities.
