You'll bring 15–20 years of experience working with 2D and 3D seismic data in structurally complex settings, and turn geophysical insight into sound development decisions.
Location: Pune, India or Dubai, UAE (hybrid/remote working considered)Job type: Full-time or part-timeWhat you'll doPerform advanced 2D/3D seismic interpretation to support prospect evaluation and well planningIntegrate seismic with well logs, geology and production data to refine structural and stratigraphic modelsIdentify leads and mature prospects through risked volumetrics and technical evaluationWork closely with geologists and engineers to optimise well targeting and reduce drilling riskCarry out seismic attribute analysis and inversion studies where appropriateContribute to reserves/resource reporting and new venture screeningSupport licensing rounds, farm-out technical presentations and partner engagementsProvide geophysical input into development planning, re-entry decisions and well placementWhat you'll bring15–20 years of geophysics experience in upstream oil and gasBachelor's or Master's in Geophysics, Earth Sciences or a related disciplineProficiency in seismic interpretation software (Petrel, Kingdom, Landmark, etc.)Strong grasp of velocity modelling, depth conversion and seismic QCA track record of contributing to successful drilling campaigns and development wellsNice to haveExperience in fold-thrust belts or other complex geological settingsFamiliarity with AVO/inversion workflows and geophysical de-riskingNew venture screening and data room evaluation experienceStrong communication skills and comfort working in multi-disciplinary teamsOccasional travel to project sites and partner offices may be required.
