About VinSmart FutureVinSmart Future (formerly VinIT) is a technology subsidiary of Vingroup, leading the development of a comprehensive SuperApp and digital ecosystem that serves tens of millions of users across key sectors including payments, healthcare, education, mobility, commerce, and entertainment.Our mission is to build the "Digital Core" — the foundational technology platform that powers Vingroup's unified digital operations, enabling smart management, data-driven decision-making, and highly scalable infrastructure on a national level.Work LocationHanoi: TechnoPark Tower, Vinhomes Ocean Park, HanoiHCM: Vincom Dong Khoi, HCMJob OverviewWe are looking for a Senior Golang Engineer to design, develop, and operate high-performance backend services powering our large-scale digital products.You will take ownership of critical backend systems end-to-end — from system design, API development, database architecture, and performance optimization to reliability, security, and production operations.This is an opportunity to work on challenging engineering problems in a large-scale technology ecosystem, collaborating closely with Frontend, Mobile, DevOps, Data, and Product teams to build reliable services serving millions of users.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services using Golang.Design and implement scalable, reliable, and maintainable microservices and distributed systems.Build and maintain RESTful APIs, gRPC services, and internal service-to-service communication.Design database schemas and optimize SQL queries, indexes, transactions, and data access patterns.Work with PostgreSQL/MySQL and NoSQL technologies such as Redis, MongoDB, or DynamoDB.Analyze and resolve performance bottlenecks, including latency, throughput, concurrency, memory, and CPU utilization.Design systems capable of handling high traffic, high concurrency, and large volumes of data.Implement appropriate mechanisms for caching, messaging, asynchronous processing, fault tolerance, and service resilience.Deploy and operate backend services on AWS, working closely with DevOps and Infrastructure teams.Ensure security, reliability, observability, and production readiness of backend services.Write clean, testable, maintainable code and contribute to engineering standards, code reviews, and technical documentation.Troubleshoot complex production issues and participate in root cause analysis and system improvement.Collaborate closely with Frontend, Mobile, DevOps, Data, QA, and Product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.Contribute to technical decisions, system architecture, and continuous improvement of engineering practices.Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and help raise the team's technical standards.Requirements5+ years of experience in backend software engineering.Strong professional experience with Golang and Go's ecosystem.Solid understanding of Go concurrency, including goroutines, channels, synchronization, context, and concurrent programming patterns.Strong knowledge of backend architecture and distributed systems.Experience designing and developing microservices and high-throughput backend services.Strong SQL skills, including database design, query optimization, indexing, transactions, and data integrity.Hands-on experience with at least one major relational database such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.Experience with Redis and/or other NoSQL databases is highly preferred.Hands-on experience building, deploying, and operating applications on AWS.Good understanding of Linux, networking, HTTP, TCP/IP, and system performance.Strong understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, clean code, and testing.Solid knowledge of backend security fundamentals, including authentication, authorization, secure coding, and data protection.Experience working with Git, CI/CD, monitoring, logging, and production troubleshooting.Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional engineering and product teams.Ability to take ownership of technical problems and drive solutions independently.Nice to HaveExperience building or scaling products serving 1M+ concurrent users or high-volume traffic.Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other message brokers.Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and containerized environments.Experience with gRPC, Protobuf, or event-driven architectures.Experience designing distributed systems, fault-tolerant architectures, and highly available services.Experience with observability platforms, distributed tracing, metrics, and centralized logging.Experience with big-data systems, data pipelines, or analytics platforms.Experience with Rust or Java is a plus.Experience working in large-scale fintech, mobility, e-commerce, healthcare, or other high-traffic digital platforms is a strong advantage.Benefit:Flexible working hours and attendance policy.
