Apply & track with Apply EdgeCore PurposeOwn the growth strategy for a portfolio of DTC ecommerce clients: diagnosing where growth actually comes from and directing CRM, SEO, CRO, paid search, paid social, and affiliates against one commercial plan rather than six channel plans.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn the growth strategy and 90-day roadmap for assigned accounts (10 accounts).Diagnose each client's growth model: acquisition efficiency, conversion, retention, and margin, and identify the real constraint.Set channel mix, budget allocation, and sequencing based on where incremental return is highest.Build and own the commercial case for each recommendation, including forecasts and expected impact.Manage team day-to-day workload in Asana. Lead cross-channel testing agendas and turn results into decisions, not reports.Act as the senior strategic voice in client relationships and QBRs.Present strategy, performance, risks, and opportunities to senior client stakeholders.Challenge and pressure-test channel leads' plans against the account strategy.Identify growth opportunities including new channels, new audiences, offer and pricing tests, LTV expansion, and retention economics.Work closely with CRM, Paid, SEO, CRO, Affiliates, Creative, Analytics.Contribute to pitches, audits, and new-business opportunities.Turn successful account-level strategy into repeatable growth frameworks.What we're looking for:4-7+ years in growth, performance marketing / agency strategy roles.Strong ecommerce/DTC experience.Working fluency across at least three of CRM, SEO, CRO, paid search, paid social, and affiliates; deep enough to challenge a specialist, not to replace one.Strong commercial and analytical thinking: comfortable with CAC, LTV, MER, contribution margin, cohort behaviour, and incrementality.Proven ability to build a growth thesis from data and defend it to a client.Experience presenting strategy and performance to senior client stakeholders.Ability to own multiple accounts independently.Confident holding a position when a client or channel lead disagrees.Strong mentoring capability.Excellent written and verbal communication.Someone who can think strategically about a client's business but still understand the technical execution deeply.What success looks like:Clients see the Growth Strategist as the person who decides where growth comes from next.Blended performance improves, not just individual channel metrics.Channel activity ladders into one coherent commercial plan rather than running in parallel.Growth opportunities and risks are identified proactively rather than reactively.
