Apply & track with Apply EdgeAbout us: Kosha Labs builds multimodal data infrastructure for physical AI across stereo vision, tactile sensing, motion capture, and robotics. We work with leading robotics companies and frontier AI labs and are backed by top Silicon Valley investors.Role: We're looking for a strong hardware engineer to build and own our multimodal capture systems.Tactile sensing: Integrate high-resolution tactile glove systems with head-mounted and wrist-mounted RGB/depth cameras. Own end-to-end hardware synchronization (hardware trigger lines, PTP/clock discipline), precise timestamping pipelines, sensor calibration (intrinsic/extrinsic where applicable), tactile sensor characterization (pressure response curves, latency profiling, noise modeling), and system-level validation across multi-sensor streams.Stereo vision: Design and deploy synchronized multi-camera rigs for head and wrist viewpoints. Own hardware triggering architecture, system-wide clock synchronization (PTP/IEEE-1588 or equivalent), camera intrinsics/extrinsics calibration, stereo rectification, IMU-camera extrinsic calibration, rolling-shutter compensation (if applicable), and full pipeline validation including reprojection error analysis and temporal alignment checks.Motion capture: Integrate full-body IMU-based motion capture systems with vision and tactile modalities. Own global coordinate frame definition and alignment across modalities, sensor-to-body kinematic calibration (joint offsets, segment alignment), time synchronization across IMU and vision streams, drift estimation and correction, and validation of pose consistency across multi-sensor fusion pipelines. You'll enjoy this role if: You like building hardware, debugging sensors, and solving hard problems across electronics, embedded systems, and robotics. You want to build systems that leave the lab and collect data at scale.Location: Jaipur & Bangalore
